Eye movement desensitization & reprocessing THERAPY FOR ADULTS

to safely process what has been keeping you stuck

eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (emdr) therapy

what does this all mean?

EMDR is a proven, effective treatment designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. Many individuals turn to EMDR when traditional talk therapy isn’t relieving their trauma symptoms or stress responses. During EMDR, the brain’s natural healing process is activated to help you reframe distressing memories and emotions, leading to lasting relief.

The core component of EMDR involves bilateral stimulation, firing up both hemispheres of your brain, through eye movements, tapping, or sounds. This process is designed to help your brain process and reframe the memory, reducing its emotional intensity. I’ll walk you through each of the 8 phases gradually, so that you know what to expect and can feel safe throughout the process.

As you progress, you may notice a reductions in anxiety or panic and an absence of negative beliefs that you have been holding onto about yourself and/or the world. Many clients report feeling a sense of peace and emotional resilience as a result of participation in EMDR.

Trauma responses are normal responses to abnormal events.

You deserve to feel relief and feel more in control.
